  • OEM wheels will fit on the front. To use the OEM wheels on the rear, a wheel spacer is required. However, all aftermarket 12" cast 5+2 offset wheels will fit front, and rear with no spacers. The Douglas spun aluminum wheels require a 4+3 offset in 12" diameter to fit properly. Some minor fender trimming is required.

    To obtain the full benefits of this suspension system, we recommend that your Rhino have some performance engine modifications. This suspension system is built to complement the high speeds and high performance driving style that you demand. Special long travel shocks are required.

    This new racer rear shock tower is designed to work with the XTR long travel suspension for racers that do not use or are willing to modify the bed. The kit bolts on to the stock shock mounts and chassis and raises the rear shock mount to improve the leverage ratio and shock angles.*** Longer rear shocks are required, and available from Bilstein and Elka.***

    This is our MTS A-Arm Kit. It is a more subtle a-arm kit for the the Rhino. It uses the stock length shocks.

    For best performance, we recommend that your shocks be sprung and vavled specific to this kit.
    Sets manufactured after January 2007 will fit the OEM wheels. Depending on the tires and wheels used, some fender triming will be required.

    The Fox shocks are a coil over shocks with piggy back reservoirs. They have been extensively tested and match to perform right out of the box with the Lone Star suspension kits. For enthusiasts that use their side x side on various types of terrain Fox also offers fully adjustable shocks that have compression and rebound adjustments.

  • Shocks, Bilstein - Rhino  
    The Bilstein shocks have been working excellent with both the MTS and XTR suspension kits. They feature steel bodies and internal reservoirs.
    The shock springs have recently changed. Some sets may have red springs most will have silver springs. 3-27-08.

  • Rhino Steering Rack End  (75-51SUS092)
    The steering rack end could also be considered the tie-rod. It threads into the steering rack and extends out to the tie rod end. The LSR rack end was designed using a heavier grade steel with a larger ball diameter and increased taper to give it superior strength over the OEM parts. However the rack end is still designed to give under extreme force to help prevent the steering rack from breaking.

  • Steering Rack End Sleeve Nut - Rhino  
    The sleeve nut is an extended nut that grips the threads and the taper to help strengthen the weak point on a LSR rack end. Any low point in a machined piece will be the weakest point of the part. Though the LSR rack ends are stronger than stock this just adds extra protection. Sleeve nut is sold individually and is made from steel and zinc coated for corrosion prevention.

    They will help on the OEM rack end, but not as much as the LSR rack end, as they are machined specifically for the LSR rack end.
